Goodbye Alstonville

We were only in Alstonville for a week, it rained quite a bit and there's not much to do there. However, we had a really great week! With Tanbay's arm still being broken it was good to have nothing that we could be doing. We haven't seen much rain in Australia either so it was nice and refreshing to see some again.

This is the main street of Alstonville:

Today Nikki, Kev and their two young boys came home (we had been house sitting for them). It was pleasant to see them again and hear about their own adventures at the Gold Coast.

To say thank you they took us out for a lovely meal at their local pub:

he's (h)armless

I had barramundi which is a delicious ozzie fish - it was so fresh it really tasted like the ocean, not in a gross salty seaweedy way, it just tasted like the air smells when you're near the ocean - fresh and crisp :)

Tbay had Chicken Kiev which I had to cut up for him.
